- Prof. Ico Maly (University of Tilburg) will take about Algorithmic populism and activism
- Prof. Emma L. Briant (Bard College) will present a lecture on Cambridge Analytica: inside Cambridge Analytica and the Digital Influence Industry
- Prof. Etienne Augé (Erasmus University Rotterdam) will present a talk titled True enough: propaganda and reality in a streaming era
This conference is hosted by Engage – Research Center for Publicness in Contemporary Communication (previously PReCoM), at the Université Saint-Louis – Bruxelles. The conference is organised in partnership with ReSIC (Centre de Recherche en Information et Communication / Université Libre de Bruxelles) and DESIRE (Centre for the study of Democracy, Signification and Resistance / Vrije Universiteit Brussel) with the support of the FNRS.
